Pre-season friendly: FC Twente 2-2 Motherwell

An audacious goal from the half way line by second-half substitute Moses Ebiye was not enough to secure victory for Motherwell in their pre-season opener against Eredvisie side FC Twente.

Lennon Miller had given 'Well a half-time lead thanks to a free kick on the 26th minute.

Dutch winter Daan Rots fired the hosts - who fielded the son of former Celtic star Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink among their players - level barely a minute after the restart.

Ebiye's goal shot from just inside the Twente half beat the keeper with 13 minutes to go, but Rots went straight up the park to level the scores once more.
