Poll: Who should be the Miami Herald’s high school football Player of the Week? (Sept. 16)
Some of South Florida’s best talent continued to be on display during week 4 of the high school football season.
This week, we continue a feature where we ask you to vote for the best performer of the week in Miami-Dade and Broward high school football.
Below is a look at the candidates from last week’s action. Take our poll below to cast your vote. The poll will be open until Thursday, Sept. 19, around 10 p.m.

Here are the candidates from last week’s events:
▪ Amos Bradford, West Broward: Bradford rushed for 237 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown. He also returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown to lead the Bobcats to a 43-39 win over Cardinal Gibbons.
▪ Jayden Torres, Cardinal Gibbons: Torres combined for five touchdowns (4 passing, 1 rushing) and passed for 415 yards, completing 17 of 24 attempts for the Chiefs despite losing to West Broward.
▪ Terrance Honeywood, Norland: Honeywood returned a punt 45 yards for a touchdown and intercepted a pass in the closing seconds to help the Vikings beat Northwestern.
▪ King Williams, Miami Springs: Williams needed just seven carries to amass 135 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Golden Hawks to a 34-0 win over South Miami.
▪ Darius Clements, Southridge: Clements caught seven passes for 98 yards and a touchdown to lead the Spartans to a 34-0 win over Hialeah.
