“General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor killed

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Former “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor has died while trying to stop thieves stealing the catalytic converter from his car in Los Angeles. His mother, Scarlett Wactor, tells ABC 7 in Los Angeles her son had left work at a rooftop bar with a co-worker, and he thought his car was being towed. She says a person in a mask opened fire and shot him. Police say three suspects drove away. Wactor died at a hospital. He was 37. No arrests have been made. Wactor played Brando Corbin on “General Hospital” from 2020 to 2022. He also appeared in “Station 19,” “NCIS,” “Westworld” and the video game “Call of Duty: Vanguard.”
