Ree Drummond’s daughter Paige is taking on ranch duties.

The cook and author, 55, shared a video on Instagram Saturday, in which she gave her followers a look at her daughter Paige, 23, carrying out her early morning work duties, which include feeding cattle on their farms, in a clip from her Food Network show, The Pioneer Woman.

In the video, Ree detailed her daughter's work, saying, “Paige starts pretty early around daylight. She arrives at the ranch from town, fills up her feeder, and then heads out into the pasture to feed the cattle.”

“Feeding is one of my favorite things to do because you’re really just getting up and getting in your truck and driving around and the sunrises are really pretty,” Paige then added. “So I honestly really enjoy feeding. It’s just fun, and it’s honestly kind of peaceful.”

The proud mom noted in the clip alongside video of Paige spreading pellets with her truck and said that feeding the cattle is “an essential part of ranching,” especially in the winter when there is no grass for the cattle.

She also explained that feeding all the cows can be a lot of work, as it takes “a few hours and a few trips” to the tank to make sure all the pastures are done.

The eldest Drummond daughter shared that the change of scenery from working mornings in an office to ranching in the morning has been positive for her.

“My morning meetings look a lot different now that I’m working out here,” she said in the clip. “Instead of being in an office building, I’m out here with all the cows. So, it’s definitely really different, but I personally love it.”

“Then with the cattle fed, the rest of the day is spent doing whatever the day dictates, and there’s lots to do. A cow girl’s work is never done,” Ree concluded the video, over a shot of Paige locking up the fences to the pastures.

“On my Food Network show this morning, I talk about Paige a little bit...and the interesting new development in her life,” Ree captioned the post. “Here’s a small clip, but you can learn more this morning at 10 eastern/9 central. ❤️.”

Ree has recently revealed several new life updates from Paige in the past months, including that she got a boyfriend in January. At the time, she shared that she spent some quality time with Paige and her boyfriend David Andersen in Vail, Colorado.

“Okay. I buried the lede. This is David. He's Paige's ‘friend.’ Not her friend, mind you,” she joked in the caption of a photo of the pair. “Her ‘friend.’ I won't go into detail because that's Paige's place to do...but the smile on her face might give you some idea of how Paige feels about her new friend. I mean ‘friend.’ I mean, I'm going to stop writing this caption now!”

Paige has recently shared a few Instagram photos with her new partner, who attended Ohio State University, according to his Instagram bio.

The Pioneer Woman airs on the Food Network at 10 a.m. EST/7 a.m. PST.
