Dolly Parton rolled back the years wearing a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader’s outfit to entertain fans at halftime during their match against the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving Day.

Wearing a low-cut blue crop top and a white waistcoat with matching hot pants, the 77-year-old country music star gyrated and shimmied across the stage.

She belted out her best-known hits Jolene and 9 to 5 to the delight of more than 93,000 fans at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Other songs in her repertoire included a cover version of the Queen hits We are the Champions and We Will Rock You.

On the pitch, the full-time Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders performed a specially choreographed routine.

Reaction online was enthusiastic.

“Dolly Parton looks amazing. I want her plastic surgeon. She has the face and body of a 50-year-old,” one user on X, formerly known as Twitter, said.

Another drew a comparison with Joe Biden.

“Dolly Parton is 77 and can sing a halftime show on high heels. Joe Biden is 81 and gets lost on stage. It’s not Biden’s age causing the gaffes,” they said.

The performance appears to have inspired the Cowboys, who won the game 45-10.
