Many fans, in fact, picked the 27-year-old for their Fantasy Football Teams, and one of those who managed to win his league thanks to Gudmundsson thanked the Iceland international by sending him a bottle of champagne.

The striker showed the gift on his Instagram profile.

It includes a note from the enthusiast fan: “Albert, I gambled on you this year, and you repaid me with an amazing season, leading me to win a historic Fantasy Football League. Confirming you on my team next season will be tough, but you will always be in my heart. Thank you for everything.”
