Picks, best bets and odds for the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
The best players in the world are walking the fairways of Pebble Beach this week — it doesn't get much better than that.
And by best players, we mean it. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and No. 3 Rory McIlroy are set to make their first PGA Tour starts of the season come Thursday morning, and they'll be joined by a surfeit of the game's biggest names. Justin Thomas, Ludvig Aberg, Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris, Jordan Spieth and Max Homa are just a handful of the stars playing in the Tour's second signature event of the season, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Defending champion Wyndham Clark is back, looking to defend the title he earned over just 54 holes last year — the tournament was shortened by inclement weather in 2024.
Two courses are used for the first two days — Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill — before the weekend rounds are played at Pebble. The winner on Sunday will earn $3.6 million of the $20 million purse and 700 FedEx Cup points.
Now, let's jump into the fun.

Picks to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
Ludvig Aberg
Odds: 18/1
Analysis: Let's hope Lud is over whatever illness took over his body at Torrey Pines, because it looked brutal. With a few days to recover, I'm sure he'll be feeling healthy enough to make a run at the title this week.
The Swede has played some wonderful golf this year and returns to a tournament where he was the runner-up a year ago. Assuming full health, Aberg should be at the top of the leaderboard come the weekend once again.
Jason Day
Odds: 35/1
Analysis: Day is back on the card, and for good reason. Since 2015, the Aussie has finished T-7 or better seven times in nine starts at this event. The other two years? T-11 (2016) and T-24 (2022).
So, yeah, he's an auto-bet at this tournament.
As for recent form, after a T-3 finish at the American Express, Day stumbled a bit on Sunday at the Farmers and ended up finishing T-32.
Beau Hossler
Odds: 60/1
Analysis: Beau Hossler at a signature event? Let me explain.
So far this season, the University of Texas product has finished T-12 at the American Express and T-15 at the Farmers Insurance Open. Not bad. In his last three starts at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Hossler has a solo third (2022), tied for 11th (2023) and for 14th (2024). Again, not bad.
If you don't wanna play him outright, he's +170 for a top-20 finish.
