Pickleball Kingdom plans its biggest North Texas location in Fort Worth suburb

Pickleball Kingdom-North Texas has announced plans to open its biggest venue in far north Fort Worth.

The location at 5650 Kroger Drive near Keller will have 17 courts across 48,000 square feet. It is expected to open early next year. Another location is expected to open late this year at the Dallas Galleria.

Pickleball Kingdom is known for its indoor pickleball courts with outdoor surfaces. Dan Jenkins, the entrepreneur behind Pickleball Kingdom, said he plans up to 20 locations in North Texas.

“Dallas Galleria and Keller are vibrant, active communities and we’re excited to bring our high-quality indoor courts and pickleball facilities to these areas,” Jenkins said in a news release.

Pickleball Kingdom will offer annual play, hourly rates, monthly memberships, a pro shop, locker rooms, lounge and meeting spaces, a snack bar in addition to lessons, leagues and tournaments.

These freshly built indoor facilities, combined with premium outdoor playing surfaces, ensure that players can enjoy pickleball year-round and are set to open at the end of this year.

In April, the Arizona-based company announced plans for a Pickleball Kingdom franchise at 5100 Haltom Road, near the 50-acre H Mart development under construction.
