Piano man Cherry a viral hit on You Tube

Don Cherry may be headed for a date with Julie Nesrallah.

The Hockey Night in Canada icon is currently a hit on YouTube, thanks to a creative piece of work by someone known as RBFlicks.

Taking a regular Coach’s Corner segment with Ron MacLean, the piece adds piano chords every time Cherry taps his finger on the desk in front of him.

Better, the chords seem accurately filled in based on where the fingers fall.

It may not be Edvard Grieg, but Nesrallah, the host of CBC Radio 2’s Tempo, might be interested in a little Cherry touch for her classical music show.
