The North Carolina Tar Heels, playing quarterback Jacolby Criswell, were steamrolled by James Madison in first half action in Chapel Hill, N.C. Saturday. The Heels struggled on both offense and defense and were booed by the UNC crowd when leaving the field trailing 53-21 at the half. Many Tar Heel fans did not return for the second half.
JMU’s 70 points is the most scored against North Carolina in Kenan Stadium. The Tar Heels had five turnovers in the game.
