North Carolina overcame a slow start to defeat La Salle 93-67 on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Cade Tyson, a transfer from Belmont, led the Tar Heels with 23 points.

Recently hired North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick was introduced at halftime alongside his first recruit, quarterback Bryce Baker of East Forsyth High School.
