Senior Maria Gakdeng led the Tar Heels with 16 points. Notre Dame’s Hannah Hidalgo and Olivia Miles knocked down five three-point baskets apiece.

The Tar Heels will face No. 14 Duke on Thursday in Chapel Hill.
