Photos: Milan players react to Girona win on social media – “United until the last second”

AC Milan secured three valuable points on Wednesday night at San Siro, beating Girona 1-0 to finally climb into the top eight positions in the table.

While it was far from a brilliant performance, the victory against the LaLiga side means that Milan are in sixth and with a win against Dinamo Zagreb next week they would secure direct qualification for the last 16.

Rafael Leao got the only goal of the game with numerous other chances spurned, but the opponents from Catalonia had their moments too, including a Bryan Gil equaliser ruled out for a very marginal offside.
