From the historic Allen Fieldhouse to James Naismith’s grave, the game of basketball has a long and enduring history that has many North Carolina connections.
That includes the late legendary UNC coach, Dean Smith, who played at Kansas, to former Tar Heels coach Roy Williams. He coached at Kansas before returning to North Carolina to finish his coaching career.
