Speed, horsemanship and athleticism were on display at Dickies Arena during this year’s Cowboys of Color Rodeo on Monday, Jan. 20.
The Cowboys of Color Rodeo at the Fort Worth Stock Show highlights Black, Hispanic and Native American contributions to cowboy culture. Participants compete in the standard rodeo events such as bronc riding, barrel racing and steer wrestling.
The event also featured performances by local violinist Armond Vance, the Escaramuza riders of La Victoria and Fort Worth’s own Circle L5 Riding Club.
