A once iconic member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was spotted in attendance at the club’s meeting with Celta Vigo this evening.

Real, of course, are currently locked in action.

After welcoming the aforementioned Celta Vigo to Spain’s capital for a Copa del Rey clash, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops jumped out to a 2-0 advantage, owing to goals on the part of Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr.

Incredibly, however, in complete control and cruising towards the Copa quarter-finals, Los Blancos collapsed, allowing both Jonathan Bamba and Marcos Alonso to find the net.

Proceedings, in turn, have since been sent to extra time.

And, as alluded to above, watching on as his former employers continue to battle it out for a place in the next round of the cup is an iconic figure amongst those of a Real persuasion.

The individual in question? Marcelo.
