Philadelphia Flyers Recall Olle Lycksell From Lehigh Valley

The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled forward Olle Lycksell from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, it was announced Saturday.

Drafted by the Flyers in the sixth round of the 2017 NHL Draft, Lycksell has played solely for the Phantoms this season, collecting nine goals and 15 assists for 24 points in 25 games.

Having come over to North America at the beginning of the 2022-23 season, Lycksell has appeared in 26 career NHL games, scoring one goal and adding five assists.

Currently leading the Phantoms in points, Lycksell has always been a difference maker at the AHL level. While he has yet to stick with the Flyers, his play has been noticed by Flyers management and he is being rewarded. If he continues to play like this, he could seize a full-time role.
