Pedri names surprise ex-Barcelona teammate as part of ‘perfect player’
Barcelona star Pedri has this week provided an insight into the traits which would build his ‘perfect’ player.
Pedri is for his part, is of course in the midst of a stellar recent run of individual form at present.
Under the watch of new Blaugrana boss Hansi Flick, the 21-year-old has looked back to his brilliant best, reestablishing himself as one of the standout performers in all of Spanish football.
Afforded a rare break with a week between Barcelona’s latest two fixtures, Pedri, in turn, sat down for an interview with ESPN UK.
And during as much, the midfielder, as alluded to above, provided an insight into his perfect player.
Specifically, Pedri was asked to name his ideal footballer, made up of Barcelona stars past and present, under each of the following characteristics: left foot, right foot, brain, speed, strength, dribbling, shooting and heading.
And it was his response to the last of these categories which saw the Spanish international turn heads.
