Yahoo Sports Pavlović running, Kompany at the training ground
Welcome back, Aleks! Three days before the official start of pre-season at FC Bayern, Aleksandar Pavlović began running again. The midfielder completed a number of laps at Säbener Straße on Friday morning. Pavlović was named in the Germany squad for this summer's home European Championship but had to pull out due to tonsilitis.

Kompany watches small group train
A number of the Reds' players were also on the grass on Friday morning. The group, including Eric Dier, Raphaël Guerreiro and Sacha Boey, who have begun pre-season early, completed a session under the guidance of assistant coach René Marić. Also watching on was new head coach Vincent Kompany, who got a look at his players on the sidelines before the first full session this coming Monday. The 38-year-old Belgian also took the opportunity for a quick chat with the players.
