Paulo Dybala set to sign new Roma contract
Paulo Dybala is now set to sign a new deal at Roma, weeks after some doubts about his future at the club.
La Joya played for Roma against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League and while they lost the game, Dybala played enough to trigger a contract extension.
Corriere dello Sport state that after the game, Dybala knew that he has played enough for a renewal. In his stint, he had to play 45 minutes of 50 percent of the club’s games. Since his arrival, Roma have played 169 games and during this period, Dybala has played 101 games.
This means that he will sign an extension till the summer of 2026 and he will earn €8 million per season including bonuses. The deal will be done when the club want and there is now rush the deal through talks. The player’s goal is now help Roma revive the season and he wants to take a leadership role.
