Paul Pogba, whose testosterone levels were found to be high in doping tests conducted in August 2023, had his ban reduced to 18 months. The star player will be able to play in official matches as of March 2025.

According to the news in La Gazzetta Dello Sport, CAS reduced the ban on him, who was suspended from the field for four years.

Pogba was given a four-year ban after failing a doping test after Juventus’ match against Udinese in August 2023. The French player’s contract with the Italian giants continues until 2026.

In an interview in July, Pogba said, “Pogba is not dead. Pogba is here. I have a great desire to come back. I am excited like a child who wants to be professional. I train every day. I am still a Juventus player. I have a contract but I have not spoken to the technical director and the president.”

Pogba scored 34 goals and made 41 assists in 190 games for Juventus. This statistic covers both of his terms at Juventus.

The French international, who returned to Juventus from Manchester United in 2022, had a very unfortunate second spell at Juventus. He only had the chance to play in six Serie A matches that season due to injuries. He was only able to play in two matches in the 2023/24 season due to a second injury.

He also played an important role in France winning the 2018 World Cup. He scored one of the goals scored by the country in the final match, beating Croatia 4-2.
