Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got a pretty clever dig in at Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson while talking about his mild high ankle sprain with reporters this week.

Mahomes discussed how, even on the team plane, he was trying to rehab his ankle after he injured it against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

When a reporter probed more into what that process looked like on a plane, Mahomes quickly joked about Wilson's infamous "high knees on the plane" incident from his Denver Broncos days.

"I wasn’t doing high knees or anything like that," Mahomes said to laughs from reporters in the room.

Alright, that's pretty savage. Good one, Pat.
