Patrick Mahomes shakes off huge hit, scores opening touchdown
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the leading favorite to walk away with the MVP trophy at Super Bowl LIV and he is starting to prove bettors right.
In a monster drive by the Chiefs, Mahomes overcame a thunderous hit laid by San Francisco 49ers safety Jimmie Ward and scored the game’s opening touchdown just seconds later.

Mahomes leads the Chiefs in rushing yards this postseason and it is evident why on this play, despite the finishing collision.

Somehow, Ward was the only one that felt the impact.
The Chiefs lead the 49ers 7-3 after the 2018 MVP was able to score the touchdown.
