Pass or Fail: St. Louis Blues 2017 Winter Classic jersey
The St. Louis Blues paid homage to their inaugural team on their “vintage, old-school and even original” Winter Classic jerseys, which were officially released Wednesday.
Above is a photo of team captain Alex Pietrangelo modeling the uniform, which the team said, “ is a re-creation of the club’s inaugural look from the 1967-68 season.”

The game will be played on Jan. 2 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis where the Blues will face off against the Chicago Blackhawks. The jersey was leaked last week on NHL.com.
Added the Blues, “The gear features historically-accurate fonts and team striping, a ribbed crewneck collar, the vintage blue color and the original Blue Note crest from the first season, making this an authentic design to create a true outdoor game original.”
Here’s another look at Pietrangelo in the jersey.
St. Louis also posted a photo of Pietrangelo with his helmet along with a Winter Classic toque.
Here is a video from the Blues showing the uniform.
