Panthers defeat Oilers to move 1 win away from 1st Stanley Cup title

The Florida Panthers held off the Edmonton Oilers in a 4-3 win to claim a commanding 3-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup final on Thursday night at Rogers Place.

Aleksander Barkov scored the winner, while Sam Reinhart, Vladimir Tarasenko and Sam Bennett also found the back of the net for the Panthers.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 31 saves for the win.

Ryan McLeod, Warren Foegele and Philip Broberg scored for the Oilers.

Game 4 is set for Saturday at 8 p.m. ET in Edmonton.
