Cole Palmer cements legendary PL status with historic scoring feat 🥶
Once again, Chelsea will love the fact that they have history-maker Cole Palmer in their squad.
And after Manchester City drew against Newcastle earlier on Saturday, they’ll be annoyed to have let him go.
As he has all season, the Englishman is pulling the strings at Stamford Bridge against Brighton to help kick-start a comeback.
Palmer hit the post early in the first half and had a goal ruled out for offside before finally finding his touch with a stunning hat-trick within 10 minutes.
The 22-year-old made a late run into the box and slammed home into an empty net, scored a penalty, and then secured a first-half hat-trick with a stunning left-footed free-kick from 25 yards out.

It goes down as his third Premier League hat-trick, the joint most of any Chelsea player. But then he went one better.
Palmer found a stunning fourth goal during the first half after slotting home at the near post from inside the penalty box. He’s the first-ever Premier League player to hit such a feat.

To make things even better, Palmer also has more goal contributions than appearances for the Blues in the English top flight.
What a signing!
