Palladino not on Fiorentina bench vs. Bologna after mother’s death
Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino won’t be on the Viola’s bench for a Serie A game against Bologna today as his mother, Rosa, died in the morning.
Palladino’s mother, Rosa, sadly passed away this morning, so the Tuscans’ boss won’t be joining the team for Sunday afternoon’s away game at Bologna.
Fiorentina announced the death of their coach’s mother with an official statement a few minutes ago.
Gianluca Di Marzio and other Italian sources report that Palladino won’t be on the bench at the Stadio Dall’Ara today.
Fiorentina have won eight consecutive Serie A matches this season and sit 4th in the table with 31 points, six below leaders Atalanta.
The Tuscans have two games in hand. They’ll play against Bologna today and will have to host Inter again in the coming months.
Their recent Serie A meeting with the Nerazzurri, in fact, was interrupted and postponed following Edoardo Bove’s collapse.
