Pacers vs. Celtics: Predictions and odds for Eastern Conference Finals Game 4

The Eastern Conference Finals have reached Game 4, and the Boston Celtics are one win away from their second conference title in three years.

The Celtics took care of the Indiana Pacers in the first two games of the series in Boston. On Saturday, they won Game 3 despite trailing for most of the game and now find themselves on the precipice of another NBA Finals appearance.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown alternated stellar scoring performances in the first three games – Tatum had 36 points in Games 1 and 3, Brown dropped 40 in Game 2 – and Al Horford came through with seven 3-pointers in Game 3.

On the Pacers side, Pascal Siakam, Tyrese Haliburton and Andrew Nembhard led scoring in each of the first three games, respectively. Haliburton missed Game 3 with a hamstring strain though, and without him, Indiana will struggle to overcome the East's No. 1 seed.

Here's everything to know about Game 4 on Monday night.

Boston Celtics center Al Horford is fouled by Indiana Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith (23) in the first half of Game 2.

Celtics vs. Pacers Game 4 predictions

The Sporting News: Celtics 115, Pacers 108

Sloan Piva writes: "Haliburton served as the captain of Indiana's aggressive speedboat offense all season, helping the Pacers rank first in scoring and top two in offensive rating and pace. But when he's out or banged up, Indy takes a big step back offensively ... Indy won't exceed 108 tonight."

Covers.com: Lay the points for Boston

Douglas Farmer writes: "Indiana had to alter its entire approach without Tyrese Haliburton in Game 3: Fewer 3-pointers, an offense run through Andrew Nembhard, and hope Boston would miss its own 3-pointers. Expect the Celtics to solve that tonight, with Haliburton strongly doubted to play. Adjusting to the adjustment has led to Boston easily covering spreads this postseason. It should send the Celtics into the Finals tonight."

CBS Sports: The Celtics will cover the spread

Sam Quinn writes: "It's just hard to imagine an Indiana team without its best player mustering up another 41-of-69 shooting performance from inside of the arc. The Celtics can taste the Finals now. They'll finish the sweep on Monday."
