Mathurin (21/4) was the star of the first half, assertive as ever. Haliburton finally got in a groove too, hitting three 3s and scoring 14pts. Remember, he was scoreless against the NYK in Game 2 this year.

Pacers fans are desperately wanting to see Mathurin unleashed — and they're getting it.

Pacers back below .500 after a 103-83 loss in Charlotte. They were outscored 21-4 over the final 6:28, held to a season-low 40% shooting and 83pts.

Siakam scored 27, Mathurin had 22. But this was a rough performance by the entire team.

This is definitely a lineup I never expected to see this season.

Consecutive steals have led to layups to draw the Pacers to within three. Siakam is carrying them with 25pts, Mathurin has 20.

But they only have 6pts from their starting backcourt. - 8:58 PM

Haliburton only having two points (1/7 shooting) this late in the half, and with so many teammates out, is an issue. They need a lot more from their leader.

Siakam + Mathurin have combined for 25 of their 39pts. - 7:59 PM
