Overage Goaltender Delafontaine Joins Top College Program For Rest Of 2024-25 Season
Recently departed Blainville-Boisbriand Armada overage goaltender Remi Delafontaine has taken his talents to the University of New Brunswick for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Delafontaine, 20, had an .895 over 18 games with the Armada this season -- joining the team via trade from the Chicoutimi Saguenéens for a sixth this off-season.
He was recently dropped from the Armada after the trade deadline, with the acquisition of goaltender Felix Hamel from the Shawinigan Cataractes.

This means the end of Delafontaine's junior career, which wraps up after 133 games between the Cape Breton Eagles, the Saguenéens and the Armada, posting an .888 over that span.
He joins one of the top Canadian university programs in the country, currently boasting a 17-2 record this season and are currently chasing their third consecutive national championship.
