Ottawa Senators Dominate Toronto Maple Leafs With A 3-0 Victory
After a game as satisfying as that, Ottawa Senators fans could probably use a cigarette.
In their most complete performance of the season, maybe many seasons, the Senators dominated the rival Maple Leafs right in Toronto 3-0 on Tuesday night. Josh Norris scored 41 seconds into the game and the Sens elite performance at both ends made that super early lead appear insurmountable.
Tim Stutzle and Michael Amadio both scored in the second period to give Linus Ullmark a little breathing room as he nailed down his first shutout and first personal two game win streak as a Senator.

Stutzle celebrated his 300th game with a tremendous performance, showing no issues from a nasty looking black eye.
Even with the sketchy quality in officiating, the Sens completely controlled the Leafs on the night, outshooting Toronto 40-26. While Toronto had done fine in three games without Auston Matthews, they missed him tonight.
Maybe the only thing this game lacked tonight was an emphatic Ridly Greig empty net goal.
After this performance, the next 48 hours will be filled with media hype and acclaim for the Senators (8-7) so this will be a good test to see if they've learned to tune out the noise and keep their work boots on as the Philadelphia Flyers visit on Thursday night.
The last time the Senators had a shutout regulation win against the Maple Leafs in Toronto was October 29th, 2005. (Note: Sens had a shutout win in Toronto on Feb. 19, 2011 when the team's played to a 0-0 tie through regulation.)
