Senators' Brady Tkachuk fined for cross-check on Flyers' Laughton
Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk has been given the maximum allowable fine for his cross-check against Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton.
The 20-year-old was fined $2,486.56 while still on his rookie deal, for cross-checking Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton. A momentous occasion for any member of that family.
Tkachuk retaliated after a couple of chirps after a game-clinching goal scored by Laughton himself.
The two were going at it throughout the contest and the animosity overflowed when the Flyers forward scored with less than five minutes remaining and decided to skate past the opposing bench.

I’m sure those were words of appreciation and sportsmanship said by Laughton.
No matter what, Tkachuk decided to essentially jump the game-winning goal scorer. At least he got his money’s worth of punches while Laughton was on the ice.
Through 30 games this season, the fourth-overall selection in the 2018 draft has scored 10 goals and 17 points.
