A leading member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Osasuna has agreed on the personal terms of a contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards David García as the player in question.

Stopper García, for his part, is fresh off a solid individual campaign on the books of the aforementioned Osasuna.

All told, the 30-year-old featured from the off in La Liga on 27 occasions, acting as a reliable presence at the heart of the Rojillos backline.

With such performances, though, has come inevitable outside interest.

Recent weeks have seen claims mount in Spain that García has been earmarked a target on the part of more than one club from the Saudi Pro League.

And, as alluded to above, over the last 24 hours, one such outfit are understood to have wrapped up an agreement with the player himself.

As per Fabrizio Romano:

‘Al Shabab have agreed on personal terms with Spanish defender David García.’

Talks, in turn, have been kicked into gear between the respective boards at Osasuna and Al-Shabab, over the financial terms of a transfer.

As of yet, no agreement has been found.
