Only Two Clubs From European Top Five Leagues Boast More Intimidating Scoring Record Than Inter Milan
Barcelona and Bayern Munich are the only sides from Europe’s top-five leagues to score more goals than Inter Milan this season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Inter’s remarkable scoring tally is among Europe’s best.
Head coach Simone Inzaghi oversaw another emphatic Serie A win last weekend.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri brushed a lowly Lecce aside in a phenomenal 4-0 win at Stadio Via del Mare.
In doing so, Inter took their Serie A goal haul for 2024/25 to an eye-catching 55 goals.
That’s at least seven more than any other team in Italy’s top flight.
Furthermore, Inter are the only Serie A team to have hit a 50-goal landmark this term.
Only Barcelona & Bayern Munich More Efficient Than Inter Milan in Europe
Despite lagging seven points behind Real Madrid in La Liga’s title race, Barcelona have bagged a staggering 59 league goals.
Seven came in Sunday’s 7-1 rout of Valencia, helping them narrowly edge Inter in the European scoring charts.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich’s record of 58 goals in the Bundesliga remains the second-best in Europe’s traditional top five.
However, Inzaghi can be proud of Inter’s performances after a stuttering league start.
That’s not to mention that Lautaro Martinez is still warming up.
