Only One Selection Doubt Remains For Inter Milan Coach Ahead Of Serie A Clash Vs Fiorentina
Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi only has one remaining selection doubt in today’s Serie A match against Fiorentina.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that this is between Matteo Darmian and Yann Bisseck in defense.
Inter coach Inzaghi will be aiming to name basically his strongest possible starting eleven this evening.
The Nerazzurri take on Fiorentina in a virtual top-of-the-table clash.
La Viola are level on points with Inter going into this match. They have won their last seven matches in Serie A, making them the division’s form team.
Darmian Vs Bisseck The Only Selection Dilemma For Inter Coach Inzaghi Vs Fiorentina
Inzaghi will have to work around a few absences in defense.
Both Francesco Acerbi and Benjamin Pavard are out with injuries. As will be Brazilian international wingback Carlos Augusto.
According to the Corriere, there is no doubt that Denzel Dumfries will start at right-wingback for Inter.
But as far as the player who starts on the right of the back three in the absence of Pavard, that is a doubt.
Darmian is capable of playing there, and would be freed up by Dumfries starting on the flank.
But on the other hand, Bisseck has also very much impressed playing in the role this season.
Therefore, Inzaghi is still considering which of the pair to start this evening.
