Woman injured in shooting in Fort Worth’s West 7th entertainment district

One person was hospitalized early Sunday morning after a shooting in the West 7th entertainment district in Fort Worth, according to police.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 12:50 a.m. near the intersection of Norwood Street and Bledsoe Street, according to police.

The victim was a 23-year-old woman, according to a police report.

Authorities said the victim was transported to a hospital with minor injuries and the shooter fled the scene in a vehicle.
