From one international break to another: the Nerazzurri numbers
Inter's stats from the run of games ahead of the November international break underline the brilliant form of Simone Inzaghi's side. Second in the domestic league and Champions League, Inter have scored the second-most goals in Serie A 2024/25 (26). From one international break to the other, the Nerazzurri have picked up five wins from seven games.
NERAZZURRI UNBEATEN
Since the league resumed at the end of October to the third international break, the Nerazzurri have gone on a brilliant run. In the seven games played between Serie A and the Champions League, Simone Inzaghi's side remain unbeaten. The Nerazzurri beat Roma, Young Boys, Venezia, Empoli and Arsenal whilst they drew against Juventus and Napoli.
OCCUPATION: CLEAN SHEETS
For the first time in Inter history, the Nerazzurri have gone without conceding a goal in four consecutive Champions League games, a result that shows the solidity and compactness in defence of Simone Inzaghi's side. Inter is one of only two sides to have not yet conceded, alongside Atalanta. This is a very positive trend for the Nerazzurri who in the last seven games, from one international break to the other, have picked up five clean sheets.
HISTORY-MAKING CAPTAIN
Having scored 135 goals for Inter, the Nerazzurri number 10 has carved his name into Club history. Lautaro is now the 7th highest-ever goalscorer for Inter having surpassed legend Istvan Nyers. During the game against Roma, the Nerazzurri captain equalled Nyers' record of 133 goals, overtaking him by bagging against Empoli and Venezia. The Nerazzurri number 10 has surpassed another historic milestone, becoming the highest-ever foreign goalscorer for the Club. Lautaro was also recognised as one of the top 10 players in the world thanks to placing 7th at the Ballon d'Or 2024.
SECOND-BEST ATTACK
In the league, the Nerazzurri have scored 26 goals, currently the second-best attack. We have scored six in the Champions League. Marcus Thuram has put in some extraordinary performances and goals and has been one of the best in the first part of the season. The French forward is third in the table of Serie A top goalscorers on 7 goals also having bagged in the Champions League away at Young Boys.
