According to a report from news agency ANSA, one person was arrested after clashes between Juventus and Torino ultras in Turin city centre last night.

Juventus and Torino ultras clashed on Friday night in the Turin city centre, hours before a Serie A meeting between the Bianconeri and the Granata.

According to ANSA, circa 100 ultras met nearby Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Gran Madre and clashed using sticks and straps.

Police intervened after a short while and identified ten people, arresting one.

Juventus are unbeaten in 35 of the last 36 games against their city rivals. The last time they were beaten in the Derby della Mole was in April 2015.

This will be the first Turin derby for new coaches Thiago Motta and Paolo Vanoli.

The Allianz Stadium will be sold out for this evening’s fixture, and Football Italia will be among the accredited media.
