Olympic medals today: What is the medal count at 2024 Paris Games on July 24?
Preparations in Paris are complete, athletes have arrived to France, the venues are sorted for athletic competition and now the 2024 Paris Olympics, finally, are here.
Though the opening ceremony will be Friday, the first day of competition is actually set to get underway Wednesday with two events, men's soccer and men's rugby sevens kicking off the action. As always, the medal count will be the ultimate measure for bragging rights among the more than 200 countries that will have athletes competing in the Summer Games.
