Olivier Fights Twice In Heated Game vs. Bruins

Mathieu Olivier had himself quite a night last night against the Boston Bruins.

On the second half of home-and-home with Boston, Olivier did not disappoint.

It started less than five minutes into the game when Olivier dropped the gloves with Mark Kastelic in a spirited bout.

The second fight occurred after a hard hit by Olivier on Charlie McAvoy. The hit might have been influenced by McAvoy's missed hit on Kent Johnson during Friday's game.

The hit sent McAvoy to the ice in pain. Not one but two Bruins stepped in, and Olivier squared off against the much bigger Nikita Zadorov and did very well.

Olivier played 12:29 over 18 shifts against the Bruins and served 10 minutes in the box.

Olivier has quickly become a fan favorite around the NHL with other fan bases wishing they had a player like him on their roster.

What's Next - The Blue Jackets return home on Tuesday to face the Carolina Hurricanes.
