Olivia Culpo wants to be his endgame…sorry, wrong team. San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey will play in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11, with the support of fiancée Culpo, who, in a Swiftian twist, is also a Jonas Brother ex.

Here’s the Culpo-McCaffrey love story, with the latest news at the top.

February 3, 2024: After McCaffrey’s mom, Lisa, shares her shock at the price of Super Bowl tickets, Culpo pays for the family to watch in a suite!

“Happy birthday Lisa I bought you a suite,” the model and former beauty queen posted to Instagram.

Lisa McCaffrey had previously said that she couldn’t “afford” a suite and was having trouble finding eight seats together so they could watch as a family. To be fair, this is the most expensive Super Bowl in history.

November, 2023: In advance of the airing of her TLC reality show, The Culpo Sisters, Culpo reveals that she had a “no athletes” rule in place thanks to bad relationships, but McCaffrey was too good to pass up. “He’s just the best, I feel like he is really everything that I could ever ask for,” she said, per ET. “So I never have to worry about anything. I think that was the reason why I didn’t want to date an athlete, no offense, because there is a reputation there.”

April 2, 2023: During an outdoor excursion in Utah, McCaffrey pops the question, and Culpo says yes! Her ring is…large.

2021: McCaffrey moves into Culpo’s beautiful home in Encino, California. Shortly thereafter, he is traded to the Niners.

July 10, 2020: McCaffrey and Culpo become parents…to a puppy named Oliver Sprinkles!

February 1, 2020: They go red-carpet official at the NFL honors.

October 2019: The pair make it public when Olivia Culpo attends a game in a Panthers jersey.

July, 2019: McCaffrey, then playing for the Panthers, and Culpo are photographed together in Mexico, sparking relationship rumors.

Summer 2019: Culpo and McCaffrey start dating. Three years later, in 2022, Culpo reflected on Instagram that she was “not looking for a relationship” when she met McCaffrey in 2019, and so, “When my best friends Kristen & Tyler called me and asked if I would be open to meeting their friend Christian I was apprehensive. I was worried it would be the same old story all over again and that all guys were the same. While my expectations were low, I knew I couldn’t close myself off and make decisions based on fear…I’m so grateful for the voice inside me that told me to give love another chance. The yin to my yang, you are the epitome of strength through humility. Thank you for being my rock and restoring my faith in love. You are everything I ever dreamed of and more.” Awww.

April 2019: The flirtation begins:

Culpo, who was both Miss USA and Miss Universe in 2012, was previously linked to celebrities including Nick Jonas, Tim Tebow, and Zedd. She’s also an accomplished cellist.

She reportedly inspired Jonas’s song “Jealous,” which is a bop.
