Oilers' Superstars Own The Seattle Kraken
EDMONTON -- Rivalries fuel the NHL.
Edmonton Oilers fans are well-versed in the rivalries the Oilers have with the Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, and Los Angeles Kings. However, one rivalry that a couple of the Oilers' best players enjoy is against the Seattle Kraken.
The Kraken haven't been in the league for a long time, but Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have enjoyed much success against them.

Draisaitl is putting on a Hart-Trophy-Worthy season. Before tonight's game against the Kraken, he had accumulated 74 points in 49 games. He leads the league with 35 goals and ranks second in points behind Nathan MacKinnon (77).
McDavid has only played 43 games but has collected 65 points this season.
The offense isn't everything (and it takes a team to win hockey games), but McDavid and Draisaitl's previous success against the Kraken bodes well for them on Monday night. It's one thing to have two of the league's best players on your team, it's another thing entirely to have those players experience tremendous good fortune against the team they are playing.
Time will tell if this rivalry will ignite more points in the duo.
