OGC Nice reject Juventus’ offer for Jean-Clair Todibo, West Ham remain in the race

One Aiglon is already set to join Juventus. Khéphren Thuram (23) was in Turin on Tuesday to undergo his medical ahead of a move from OGC Nice to the Serie A giants. The officialisation of that move is merely a matter of time. Could another Nice player be set to join him in Northern Italy?

Perhaps so. Nice-Matin understands that Juventus have shown an interest in Jean-Clair Todibo (24) who, like Thuram, will be allowed to leave Le Gym should a reasonable offer be received. Juventus have indeed submitted an offer but not one that has been considered reasonable by the hierarchy at the Ligue 1 club.

West Ham still in race for Todibo

Nice-Matin report that Juventus’ loan offer for Todibo has been rejected with Nice demanding a €40m fee and a permanent transfer. It remains to be seen whether Juventus have the means to meet that significant asking price, especially given that they are about to shell out a reported €25m on his teammate, Thuram. West Ham United, who are looking to raise extra funds through sales, remain in the race, despite the recent acquisition of Max Kilman from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
