OGC Nice predicted XI v Le Havre: Jonathan Clauss still absent as injury woes continue
Another week, another patchwork squad from Franck Haise. As has been the case for a month, even more, OGC Nice must contend with around a dozen absences, although there are some bright shoots this time around.
Jérémie Boga looks to have sufficiently recovered and is in line to be included in the matchday squad, although he may not earn a spot in the starting XI. Mohamed Abdelmonem and Hicham Boudaoui, both absent from training this week with illness, have recovered and both could start as Le Havre AC visit the Allianz Riviera.
There is, nonetheless, still a large injury list at Nice. Ali Abdi, Melvin Bard, Dante, Antoine Mendy, Mohamed-Ali Cho, Youssouf Ndayishimiye, Morgan Sanson, Terem Moffi, and Jonathan Clauss are all out, the latter is, however, nearing a return. It is not only the amount of injuries hampering Nice but the players that are suffering them. Bar Ali Abdi, all of the other eight would likely start for Haise’s side.
