OGC Nice’s Khéphren Thuram set for Juventus medical

Fabrizio Romano understands that Khéphren Thuram (23) is set to undergo his Juventus medical on Tuesday, ahead of the completion of his move to the Serie A giants.

Thuram’s move to Juventus is all but confirmed. The OGC Nice midfielder had been selected to participate in this summer’s Olympics, however, Thierry Henry revealed last week that he had been dropped from the squad, upon the request of his new club, Juventus. With the agreements all in place, only the formalities remain.

Thuram, whose Nice contract was set to expire at the end of next season, will sign a five-year deal with the Serie A side, whilst Le Gym are expected to receive around €20m for the midfielder, plus around €5m extra in add-ons. All that remains is for Thuram to undergo his medical tests. That will happen on Tuesday, according to Romano, with the Frenchman expected to plan in Turin imminently ahead of the move.

Les Aiglons have already secured their replacement, with Tanguy Ndombélé having arrived on a free transfer, following the termination of his contract at Tottenham Hotspur.
