OGC Nice consider Maxence Lacroix as Jean-Clair Todibo replacement

OGC Nice are planning for Jean-Clair Todibo’s (24) departure. Whilst new manager Franck Haise alluded to the France international potentially remaining at the club, the expectation is that he will leave, given the level of interest being shown across Europe.

The former Barcelona centre-back won’t join Manchester United, due to a UEFA multi-club ruling, however, amid continued interest from the likes of Aston Villa and West Ham United, a move to the Premier League is still on the cards. However, recently, Juventus and AC Milan have also upped their interest.

Nice are therefore – naturally – planning for the future, and according to Foot Mercatoare considering a move for Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix (24). Get French Football News understands that the Frenchman will leave the Bundesliga club this summer, with just one year on his current deal remaining.

Lacroix has joined Luton Town’s Taden Mengi and RC Lens’ Jonathan Gradit in being targeted by Les Aiglons this summer as they look to strengthen their defence.
