Official: Yacine Adli joins Fiorentina on loan with option to buy deal
Fiorentina have officially announced the signing of Yacine Adli from AC Milan on what will be an initial season-long loan deal.
A statement on Fiorentina’s official website has now confirmed that Adli has signed for La Viola on a loan deal which includes an option for them to make it permanent in the 2025 summer transfer window.
Adli was born in Vitry-sur-Seine, France, on July 29, 2000. He came through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain, debuting for the club in Ligue 1 back in 2018.
The 24-year-old also played 104 times for Bordeaux and last season featured 33 times for Milan, in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, the Champions League and the Europa League, scoring once.
Adli will wear shirt number 29 at his new club and he could actually face Milan on October 6 when Paulo Fonseca’s side make the trip to Florence for the meeting at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
According to MilanNews among other sources, Fiorentina will pay a loan fee of €2m to have Adli for the season, and the figure for the option to buy is around €10m.
Milan tried to make it an obligation to buy meaning they would have had guaranteed income, but in the end they agreed to it being an option.
