Official: Triple Juventus injury boost for Man City game confirmed

Juventus coach Thiago Motta confirms Andrea Cambiaso, Weston McKennie and Douglas Luiz will be available for a home Champions League game against Manchester City on Wednesday.

Motta provided Juventus’ latest team news during a pre-match press conference attended by Football Italia on Tuesday.

Cambiaso had suffered an injury against Bologna on Saturday but returned to group training this morning. The Italian joined Douglas Luiz and McKennie who had already trained with the rest of the team this week.

“They are back in the group. We are happy they can help the team starting tomorrow, either by starting or coming off the bench,” Motta confirmed.

“Douglas Luiz has worked with the group. He made his latest appearance against Lazio a few days ago, but now he’s back, and we’ll see how he does during training sessions and when he’s involved in games, to fully rely on the player.”
