Omari featured 94 times for formative club Stade Rennais, logging two goals and one assist. The 24-year-old Comoros international remains tied with Les Rouge et Noir over a long-term contract set to expire in 2027. Omari was an unused substitute for Rennes’ first two Ligue 1 games of the season with head coach Julien Stéphan relying so far on Christopher Wooh and Leo Ostigard. The signing of Barcelona centre-back Mikayil Faye only made Omari the fourth-choice centre-back for the Bretons.
