Official | Rennes loan Henrik Meister to Pisa
Rennes have allowed their €7m signing Henrik Meister (21) to spend the whole of 2025 on loan at Serie B side Pisa FC, both clubs have confirmed. Meister’s loan move includes an option to make his move permanent. Meister was one of several foreign players with no Ligue 1 experience Rennes Sporting director Frederic Massara signed this summer. He signed a four-year deal with Stade Rennais from Norwegian Eliteserien club Sarpsborg. “The Danish forward joins the Italian club for twelve months“, Rennes confirmed.

The 21-year-old made an impressive debut with Rennes, scoring after coming off the bench in Stade Rennais’ opening day 3-0 home rout against Lyon. Since then, Meister did not kick on in the slightest, totaling only 59 minutes of playing time. In the last months, Meister was either an unused substitute or absent altogether from the matchday squad. Meanwhile, Rennes have announced they have recalled centre-forward Wilson Samaké (20) from his loan at third-tier side Châteauroux.
